The body of the locomotive has rivet detail on the buffer beams, the smoke box has a riveted overlay, some of the rivets have to be punched out by the builder. The boiler is a brass tube, which is cut to length for you. All the casting's are in white metal, the cab has an etched backhead plate with an etched fire door.

It also has two types of front bulkhead, giving the option of coal doors. Separate half round beading is supplied for the side and rear of the tank. White metal casting's for the brake standard, dome and water filler are included, along with the axle boxes which are plastic. The chassis is a separate unit and can also be compensated on two axles if required, all parts being supplied. This also has etched brake arms, shoes and brake rods. The kit comes with wire, tube, handrail knobs, screws and nuts along with a comprehensive set of assembly instructions all in a box large enough to house the finished locomotive. |
